Victor Dantas is a master’s level student at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV - Getúlio Vargas Foundation) in São Paulo. He studies for an MBA in Project Managemente, a program at FGV directed by Dr. André Barcauí. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineeting from the Universidade de Pernambuco, Recife, Brazil (2016) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of East London, United Kingdom (awarded visiting student scholarship - 2013/2014).

Victor is a civil engineer with 4+ years of professional experience comprised mostly in construction management, quality management and planning.  He holds the PMP certification (since 2020) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is currently studying for PSM and Prince2 certifications. Victor currently works in government, with urban infrastructure for São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city. Past work experience includes a major sanitation project (Public-Private Partnership) for 4 million inhabitants of the Recife Metropolitan Area.

Major Field of Study:  Master of Business Administration (MBA), Project Management

Research interests: risks in project management, managing mega or complex projects (such as infrastructure projects), stakeholder management, agility in project management
