Vito Introna obtained a Ph.D. at the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. He is Associate Professor at the Department of Enterprise Engineering at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” where he teaches “Industrial Plants” and “Innovation and Project Management”. He teaches Project Management in the Executive Master in Business Administration at University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, in the Master in Project Management at Luiss Business School and in many other Master Courses. Within project management he is mostly interested in project planning and control, risk management, program and portfolio management, innovation project management, stakeholder management and the effects of human behaviour on the project success.
He was a founding member of Istituto Italiano di Project Management (ISIPM – Italian Institute of Project Management) and since 2005 he is a Member of the Steering Committee of ISIPM. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the journal "Il Project Management" and since January 2017 he is a member of the scientific technical committee for the project manager certification scheme for the accredited certification body AICQ-SICEV in Italy.
Vito is co-author of 11 books and more than 80 publications.
