Access to new resource related to Artificial intelligence and Project management added to PMWL

29 March 2022 – Almaty, Kazakhstan – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Project Management. The new resource is titled “Artificial Intelligence impact in Project Management”.
Now, we are living in the modern world with various technologies and these technologies become better and popular year by year. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of these modern technologies that has impact on every sphere.
AI is changing the business world, through the different intelligent systems, as digital assistants, deep questioning/answering, machine vision, etc. As humans and machines increasingly collaborate, and as AI innovation emerges from the research lab and becomes mainstream, the possibilities for transformation are staggering.
In this study, International Project Management Association (IPMA) in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) conducted the study related to the influence of AI on the Project Management, and on the business world at all. During the study there are provided executed summary that:
- 56% of the organizations already have a digital transformation strategy with AI adoption;
- 61% professionals are currently using a mix of traditional and agile methodologies;
- Increased flexibility and responsiveness is the main change in the project work triggered by the AI technologies;
- There are presented 3 approaches to develop skills to use AI;
- Top 3 reasons identified for AI adoption in PM;
- Additionally, there are five key non-IT skills required for using AI in PM.
Moreover, in this study, there are presented and described in details Virtual partnership. Man and the machine together facing different challenges, one of the largest one is ‘technological breakthroughs’ that means raising both profound opportunities for business and people.
