Global Initiatives & Programs

The ATOM Project – Launched on August 29, 2012, The ATOM Project is an initiative to ban the global testing of nuclear weapons and their total destruction by all countries. The ATOM Project informs the world about the catastrophic humanitarian and environmental impacts of nuclear weapons on the example of Kazakhstan (In which from 1947 to 1991, 456 nuclear explosions were conducted at the Semipalatinsk polygon). One of the goals of the project, anyone on the Earth who opposes nuclear weapons, will be able to subscribe to an online petition calling on the governments of the world to abandon nuclear tests forever.
