14 February 2018 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to project management in the Pharmaceutical Industry. The new resource is titled “The Integration of Project Management with Supply Chain Management in Indian Pharmaceutical Projects”, published in December 2017 in the IUP Journal of Supply Chain Management by M Raja Shakar Reddy, Nasina Jigeesh and Prabhu Kumar.

The paper’s main focus is on the importance of the integration of project management with supply chain management and how it positively affects delivery of pharmaceutical projects from an India standpoint. The various phases involved in these projects are briefly explained along with the results of a study made on nine such projects outsourced to Indian counterparts. Through this study they have established how this strategy contributes positively towards successful delivery of pharmaceutical projects.
