Access to Construction company of Indian Railways added to PM World Library

26 January 2018 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of Construction company of Indian Railway. The new resource is titled “Ircon International Limited'' and is a turnkey infrastructure and construction company serving the Indian rail and other industries.
Ircon International Limited is an engineering and construction company specialized in transportation infrastructure established in the year 1976 by Government of India. It is a public-sector company registered as Indian Railway Construction Company Limited, a wholly owned entity of Ministry of Railways. The company’s primary charter was the construction of railway projects in India and abroad. Later on, the company diversified into other transportation and infrastructure segments. It expanded its scope of operations around the world and in the year 1995, the name was changed to Ircon International Limited.
Ircon is a turnkey construction company that is specialized in railways (new railway lines, rehabilitation/conversion of existing lines, station buildings and facilities, bridges, tunnels, Signalling and telecommunications, railway electrification, and wet leasing of locomotives), highways, EHV sub-station (engineering, procurement and construction) and metro rail. It has completed more than 300 major projects in India and over 100 major projects across the globe in more than 21 countries.
