Access to new resource in the category of management-related professional organizations added to PMWL

28 February 2024 – Rawalpindi, Pakistan – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to general management professional organizations. The new resource is titled “Management Association of Pakistan (MAP)” and is a professional Association, a not-for-profit and a non-political organization based in Karachi, Pakistan.
The Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) operates as a distinguished professional entity, functioning as a non-profit and non-political organization. Since its opening in 1964, MAP has been at the forefront of promoting professionalism in management disciplines. MAP disseminates knowledge about modern managerial practices and techniques through various courses such as training sessions, workshops, seminars, and conferences providing members with valuable learning experiences. MAP also facilitates its members' access to international learning experiences through strategic alliances with organizations like the Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO), thereby elevating their management skills and knowledge on a global scale.
MAP's membership structure is diverse, catering to a wide range of individuals and organizations keen on enhancing their management skills and knowledge. The association prides itself on its Honorary Members, Institutional Members, Individual Members, and Student Members who avail of its intangible and tangible membership benefits. MAP's commitment to recognizing excellence in management practices is evident through initiatives like the Corporate Excellence Awards, instituted in 1982 which aim to honor companies demonstrating outstanding performance and enlightened management practices in Industrial, Financial, and Not-For-Profit sectors.
