Access to new resource related to the project management profession added to PMWL

19 January 2019 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to the project management profession. The new resource is titled “Project Management Associates India (PMA)”, an exclusive Indian member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
PMA, the National Association of Project Managers of India was founded by Shri Adesh Jain in 1993. Headquartered at Delhi NCR, this is a non-profit registered society with the vision “To create a Project Oriented India (POI)”. It strives to build project mindset and orientation through project management education in different ways like events, awards, trainings, membership and certifications in the country.
It has been promoting competence-based project management by –
- Carrying out 4 level certification - levels A, B, C, D
- Facilitating global and national level seminars and workshops covering different sectors of industry, academia and NGOs
- Collaborating with International Agencies
PMA provides best practices in Project Management, learnt and shared by IPMA, from their experience and knowledge base to Project practitioners and Academia. It constantly supports the objectives of “Make in India” initiative by the Government of India and also advises the government and its institutions.
