Organizations Making a Difference
Breakthrough India – A non-profit global human rights organization founded in 1999 by Mallika Dutt with “Mann ke Manjeere”, an album depicting women’s dreams and music video on women’s rights. Based in India and the United States, Breakthrough’s mission is to prevent violence against women and girls by transforming the norms and culture that enable it. The organization is built on the belief “Violence against women and girls can end with you” and each persons experience reflects this truth.
