Medicine from the Sky (2019) - An innovative drone delivery project in Telangana, India announced by The World Economic Forum Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network in partnership with State Government of Telangana and HealthNet Global Limited. The major aim of this project is to explore the use of drones to increase access to healthcare for communities across the Telangana state. This briefing paper provides an overall view of the health care supply chain and the challenges faced in India. The report lists a few use cases for drone delivery and covers a high level evaluation that supports decision making for procurement of drones for medical delivery.
